The TPI®* model is one of the most used reference models for assessing the current test process and defining the target situation. In 2009 TPI Next®. has been introduced as a follow-up of the original TPI model with a number of improvements. Furthermore the model is adapted to nowadays requirements. The strength of the original model – key areas, levels, checkpoints and improvement suggestions – is still in place. The TPI Next® model includes a more explicit relationship between priorities of improvement actions and the goals of the improvement process, covering more than just the test process.
Goal of this one-day training is to provide insight in how to apply TPI Next® for assessing the current test process and determine how to improve the test process. Besides this, the way TPI Next® can help in achieving the targets is being discussed, taking various applications and environments into account.
The training includes a number of exercises for the participants to gain practical experience in applying TPI Next®.
