Your Benefits

This know how about systematic procedures in testing will help you to reliably identify the most appropriate testing methods and yield a better cost-benefit ratio. In addition, you will prepare yourself for the globally recognized exam.

This training course provides a comprehensive variety of methods and techniques for deriving and specifying software tests at the black box level (specification-based). It will equip you with hands-on experience on successfully selecting and applying techniques for test case derivation, such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, classification tree method, decision table method, state transition testing and domain testing . You will look into additional techniques such as explorative testing and how to put them to use. The seminar focuses on testing functional quality characteristics and testing usability and accessibility.
Furthermore, the seminar deals with reviews as a simple, well established, and appropriate technique for an efficient check of specifications, source code and other substantial project documents. You will become familiar with the factors and methods that are key to successful reviews as an instrument of quality assurance in your projects.
The seminar is topped off with a survey of useful tools to support your testing activities. The focus will be on test design tools, test data generators and editors as well as on a discussion of test automation.
You will deepen your knowledge through exercises and you will benefit from exchanging ideas with other participants. You will be perfectly prepared for your participation in the certification test right after the course or at a date of your choice.
