ASAM e.V. is a non-profit organization that promotes the standardization of tool chains in automotive development and testing. The members ensure that ideas with market relevance become standards and that these standards are used worldwide. imbus has been a member of Asam e.V. since 2021 and is actively involved in a number of positions there.

Arbeitskreis Softwarequalität und -Fortbildung e.V. (ASQF®) is the IT expert network in the D-A-CH region for software quality, software testing and other IT topics. imbus is a founding member and imbus employees are active on a voluntary basis, especially in the Software Testing specialist group.

imbus is actively involved in the German industrial standards committee 043-01-07 for “Software and System Engineering”. This standards committee is the German counterpart to the IOS/IEC committee JTC1/SC7.

The Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI) is the professional organization of computer scientists in Germany. imbus AG is a company member of GI e.V. In addition, many imbus employees are involved in the GI's working group TAV (Test, Analysis and Verification of Software) in particular.
German Testing Board (GTB)
The German Testing Board (GTB) is the national professional association within the ISTQB® and is responsible for the ISTQB® curricula and the associated certification system in Germany. imbus cooperates with the GTB as an ISTQB® training provider. Various imbus employees are involved on a voluntary basis in the GTB working groups and in the work of the presidium.

The International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB®) is the world's leading certification system in the field of software testing. imbus belongs to the forerunners for the international training standard ISTQB® Certified Tester and influentially co-creates it in the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
