“Testing Intelligence” is our powerful management information system for reporting and data analysis in software tests. The Testing Intelligence component in TestBench provides you with fully-automated highly-compressed key values (KPIs) and comprehensive trend analyses of test task status and test results of all software projects in your area of responsibility or in the whole company.
Testing Intelligence extends TestBench with a professional data warehouse designed for data analysis of software tests, and provides a first-class tool for controlling your software projects effectively. The standard reporting engine contained in TestBench is, of course, still available to you.
Testing Intelligence also offers the following additional features:
Data-Warehouse:
Collection and preparation of all relevant test management data in a separate data warehouse. Even the most comprehensive data analyses run in the background without influencing the performance of TestBench.
Test management dashboard:
Web-based reporting portal that returns the status and the trend development of the test functions and the test results of all software projects.
Using the possibility of personalisation, users can adapt how information is displayed to their individual requirements. Thus Test Management, Project Management, R&D Management or CIO's receives evaluations and all decision-relevant information in the respective views relevant for them. Using the Drilldown function, the user can quickly zoom into the desired depth of detail.
Benchmarking:
Testing Intelligence transfers the TestBench data daily and fully automatically into the data warehouse. Thus – as in a diary – the chronological development of test work and test results is recorded without any gaps. This allows benchmarking between projects or between different
release versions of a project. For example, it can be shown how and where test efforts have shifted between releases, whether and how fast work on unstable areas of the software is progressing, or how and when the test coverage will reach the test coverage goal. The interval at which data is compressed can be configured (e.g. daily, weekly, monthly).
Testing Intelligence is based on proven business intelligence technology from Jaspersoft and is an additional TestBench component to extend your present TestBench.
With a user-friendly administrator interface, you parameterise Testing Intelligence and define which TestBench projects are transferred into the data warehouse and for which users the reports are available in the dashboard.
