Siemens Corporate Technology and imbus present managed model-based testing
Möhrendorf, May 2011 - Partners imbus and Siemens AG present Managed Model Based Testing (M²BT), the smart solution which implements model-based testing practically and efficiently.
M²BT combines model-based test case generation with comprehensive test management functions.
The solution also includes the powerful "Test Design Studio" (tedeso) to allow easy, automatic generation of test cases from UML models.
tedeso was developed by Siemens AG Corporate Technology (CT) and is one of the best and most powerful test generators currently on the market, allowing test generation to be flexibly controlled via a wide range of adjustable structure and data coverage criteria. Test specifications can be directly generated from the models as test scripts for automatic test execution.
The overall management of the test cases and test scripts generated (management, versioning, archiving) is carried out by the imbus test management tool TestBench.
TestBench is a test tool developed by imbus AG which fulfils all the requirements of a software-supported test environment. This way, the user has the same convenient and clear control over the tests generated from the models as with conventionally specified tests.
The combination of managed and model-based tests provides fast response times, extensive and systematic test coverage, a high level of transparency, and precise selection of tests, in addition to cost savings.
As a Siemens Advanced Partner, imbus not only provides exclusive integration with TestBench, it also provides comprehensive service, support, training and consulting for the Siemens tedeso tool.
