Möhrendorf, May 2010 - As a result of an amendment to the Medical Devices Act (MPG) in Germany in March 2010, every single piece of software within medical devices is now subject to validation.
imbus, a service provider for software testing, has now addressed these additional requirements for manufacturers and medical devices by offering a new range of services: “Verification and validation of software for healthcare and medical devices”. These new imbus service components help to fulfil FDA and MPG requirements reliably and in a way that is economically viable.
