Moehrendorf, December 2011 – As 2011 draws to a close, we are delighted to present to you the new version 2.2 of the TestBench. The new functions provided by TestBench 2.2 include:

-    Powerful rich-text editor for easily-understandable, text-based specifications
-    Support for the review of test results
-    Export of test specifications and reports to MS Word
-    Jasper reports as an additional reporting engine
-    Various enhancements for the use of keyword-based tests

With the deployment a high-performance rich-text editor, the user now has the option of moving texts, tables and picture to and from MS Office using copy&paste. The export of specifications and reports to MS Word has been further simplified.

The test management and test design tool TestBench can easily be integrated into an existing tool landscape - for requirements management, defect management and test automation. It also supports structured testing in accordance with ISTQB® standards.

imbus is licensing the TestBench in the form of an attractive renting model. The number of user licences can be flexibly adjusted in the course of a project in accordance with requirements at a particular time. This minimises the costs of the tool.

The imbus TestBench has been successfully deployed in healthcare, the automotive industry, logistics, public administration, banking and insurance since 2004. The new version 2.2 of the TestBench is available from the middle of December 2011.
