New Manager for the imbus Academy

Moehrendorf, April 2008 - Since 1 April, the imbus Academy has been under new management. Arne Becher has taken over from Matthias Daigl as the head of the internationally-active imbus Academy. Mr Becher has been a member of the imbus team since 1999, recently working as both a trainer and a senior consultant for software quality management.

In around 330 training days, he was able to successfully pass on his knowledge of software quality management and testing to more than 800 course participants. In his role as a product manager, he has been responsible for the training products of the imbus Academy, as well as qualification programs for new trainers.

In his new position, he would like to further expand and optimise the imbus Academy’s training portfolio, so as to provide high-quality training and further education courses to specialists and managers in the fields of software engineering, software quality management, software quality assurance and software testing. He also intends to reinforce the imbus Academy’s position as a leading provider for Certified Tester training courses in Germany, as well as intensifying international training activities.

After eight years at the helm of the imbus Academy, Matthias Daigl is now taking on a new challenge. He has just taken over as the new manager of process consulting at imbus AG.
