Continuous Education

Of course members of the imbus staff have the usual opportunities for continuous education and keeping up to date on expert knowledge, through internal and external courses or by attending scientific conferences. Apart from that we offer:

  • TechNos

    • These regular events help us to learn about Technical Novelties. This forum allows any staff to introduce their colleagues to fields in which they are currently working and of which they have detailed knowledge.
  • AKs

    • Forming "Arbeitskreise" (the German expression for "teams") is a quick way of reacting to short-term demands. One of our AK's, which meanwhile is an established tradition, deals with GUI test automation Here, new techniques are introduced to our routines, and also brand new methods are developed .

    • This abbreviation stands for Organizational Novelties. Here, information about changes in and around imbus is exchanged on a regular basis.
  • The imbus Seminar
    Once a year, the imbus staff meets in a hotel for a weekend of information exchange about our professional work or the company itself. For one weekend, this forum offers staff the opportunity to discuss selected subjects of interest beyond the limitations of short-term job demands, in presentations, team projects, or in spontaneous conversations. Also this is a chance to meet colleagues rarely encountered when working in different areas.
    Furthermore this seminar is an excellent possibility for each member of the staff to participate actively in shaping the future of imbus. And last but not least, the hotel's chefs contribute their share to turning this time into a memorable experience...
