Basiswissen Softwaretest (Software Testing Foundations) – 4th edition (German) published
Heidelberg, May 2010 - The publisher dpunkt Verlag has brought out the 4th German-language edition of the bestseller “Software Testing Foundations” using its German title "Basiswissen Softwaretest" (ISBN 978-3-89864-642-0).
This book provides all the knowledge that is needed at foundation level, and uses an end-to-end example to support all the explanations. The most important methods are dealt with thoroughly, including methods for testing software and for checking documents used and created during the software development process. This foundation course in software testing is a must not only for testers, but also for software developers and programmers. The book has been set out in a way that makes it suitable for self-study.
In this new edition, the authors Andreas Spillner and Tilo Linz have included amendments to the syllabus arising from the last ISTQB® update in 2010. That means that the book completely covers the latest ISTQB® syllabus version and, of course, the current German-language version of the foundation level syllabus for the German Testing Board, the Austrian Testing Board and the Swiss Testing Board.
„Basiswissen Softwaretest“ is also available in the English language with the title „Software Testing Foundations“.
